RPS Inspiration Award Commendation

The prestigious Royal Philharmonic Society 2020 Awards last night included a new Inspiration Award - "for endeavors that set out to inspire us all during lockdown". There were 2,761 public nominations and we are absolutely delighted that our BSO Over the Rainbow received a commendation. The beautiful arrangement by Ed Rugman, our composer in residence, was a joy to play and special thanks and congratulations to Ten Forward Music Productions for producing the piece. Finding ways for our members to enjoy music making and staying connected throughout lockdown has been really important for us as an orchestra. Thank you to our MD, Helen Harrison, and all our members for making a special moment in our history.
