A look back at our 2022 2023 season

Our 2022-2023 season was a busy one with

- 5 concerts at Lancaster Castle (the first orchestra to play there in its 800 year history), Hodgson Academy, AKS Lytham and Blackpool Grand Theatre - a Come and Play String Day with coaching from Alexandra Stemp and Amanda Turner - a conducting workshop for pupils from Hodgson Aademy.

We played some fantastic music and are looking forward to starting rehearsals for our 2023-2024 season in September which begins with a concert on November 11 at Rossall School with soloist Martin Roscoe in Rhapsody in Blue and a premier of a piece by Nigel Clarke. We will also be playing Shostakovich 5th Symphony. We are also delighted that Alexandra Stemp will be leading us for this concert.
